Lisa McDonald – Independent Director
Lisa grew up on a farm in Flynn, later moving to Traralgon. She pursued studies in Melbourne, gaining a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) at Christ College (now Australian Catholic University) and a Bachelor of Education (Adult) at Melbourne University. From 1989 to 2002 Lisa was employed at WorkCover where she held a number of positions working her way up to Manager, Education and Training. In 2002 Lisa re-located to Longford working for the Wellington Shire Council where she was responsible for re-developing the Council Planning and supportive legislative processes. In 2008 Lisa joined the Department of Defence – Capability and Acquisition Group – Air Training and Aviation Common Systems Program Office.
Lisa values a collaborative approach, respectfully seeking to work with and through a team to achieve results. Lisa brings a range of experiences to her role as an Independent Board Member for Hico.
