We have been involved in herd testing almost since its inception back in the 1920’s, as such we have built up an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience.

We have our own fully equipped laboratory based in Korumburra where your milk samples are tested, with results being made available in both electronic and print format.

Genetics
We pride ourselves on being an independent supplier of bovine genetics.

With sales representatives available at each branch, we can help provide a tailored selection of genetics to best suit your business needs.

We also have semen storage facilities at each branch which allows us to correctly handle and store any semen.

Farm Services
If you require farm services such as artificial insemination, freeze branding, calf de-horning, farm chemicals or merchandise, we can supply it.

Milk Harvest
Our Milk Harvest service is offered through the Central and East Gippsland area and includes the supply, fitting and service of GEA Farm Technologies milking plants and machine components for herringbone and rotary dairies.

We can also supply rotary platforms and service all brands of milking machines. Whether it is advice, quotes for new sheds, shed extensions or to do plant upgrades, Hico can help.

Our qualified service technicians can assist you with regular shed tests and offer a 7 day a week breakdown service.
